Hey Pappa,

At this point, make sure the guys are wearing their insulated jackets. :(

I am surprised nobody/company seems to want to make it a priority to make a nice set of upper doors for the RMAX2 / X2 that will work with the Yamaha Glass windshields.

There are a couple vendors who do but are having teething problems. Many are focusing on their own hard cab kits.

UORP wanted me to emphasize they are not happy with the existing gaps and are working on a latch. I personally think they're fine.

I vote to remove massive for this. He shouldn’t be showing off something we can’t get. Just isn’t fair, and might cause a civil unrest! Unless you wanna ship a set to Oklahoma! 🤠

I pray that these come to fruition for all the poor freezing souls.

Greg was supposed to be here this weekend with the updated doors but had a death in the family. Prayers for his family.

Winter is still here in Michigan. We have been able to ride without any enclosure, but I can't wait to see what they can turn out! I almost pulled the trigger on a sxs enclosure soft enclosure, but I'd rather not spend the money twice! We snowmobile so we have all the gear and are used to the cold, but I get a little jealous of my buddy riding in his pioneer 1000-5 with full enclosure and heater riding in jeans and a sweatshirt!

These are patent pending. As you can see: Gullwing is the way to go Unique Off Road Products by Get Lit.:

Ha!! I had planned on doing that but I've been so time-pressed that I have to do hit-n-run videos/postings

#101 ·
So are they not making them attached to the lower door like the previous model?

#103 ·
No and my follow-up video will explain why.

These are patent pending and yes the rear doors for the RMAX4 will also be gullwing. The patent is the main thing holding us up right now. The doors are easily removable by 2 hitch pins that the door pivots on (and detaching one end of the gas cylinder). The velcro window can be removed as well. Price for the RMAX2 will be under $1000 plus freight.

Notice that this will work with your existing light bar mounts and it will work with any windshield but you'll have to trim the molding and slightly notch the plastic to clear your clamps.

Those are some nice doors. Glad to see someone finally came up with a good upper door for those of us that have the Yamaha front glass windshield. It's obvious a lot of thought and design work went into getting a good user friendly, functioning door. The quick and simple removal just by removing 2 pins is excellent for seasonal use and as Grouly925 stated won't work in his enclosed trailer, then the upper doors can be taken off in a matter of seconds for whatever the need may be, including trailering.

These do look nice and are probably well designed and durable. I guess we will see how these turn out once finalized and I’ll be interested to see how they compare to Spike power sport’s new ones my buddy just sent me pics of from FB. Remember the only FB I use is F… Brandon

Ya know if Spike would have given any indication that they were going to pause from giving Polaris continual felatio on their products and throw the RMAX a bone, I probably would have told UORP don't bother. I mean competition is good but UORP has supported the RMAX from its launch taking all the risk and now that the RMAX is becoming very popular.............now Spike wants to throw this model a bone.

Removing/Installing the UORP gullwing upper doors for you enclosed trailer and toy hauler owners Literally 45 seconds to remove and 1 minute to install in gusty winds:

Just a little more information regarding the Spike Power Sports version of aftermarket upper door window kits for the RMax. At this time, the only version that will be available are for the RMax4. NOTHING is in development for the RMax2. They are looking at a late summer/fall release for the RMax4. Thankfully for us RMax2 owners, UORP, as Massive has shown, is going to be giving us all quality product.

Hold your breath until July. UORP has been slammed with their primary business but these are still due for release tentatively for July. Fronts are done. Rears are being finalized.

The fronts will fit X2/RMAX2 and X4/RMAX4 respectively. The rears will fit the RMAX4, but they should also fit the X4 since nothing attaches to the lower door since it's gullwing.
