I wanted to add a little FYI for anyone else thinking of doing this. I have had a little more time with it and can report temps are the same as before, in the 198 - 207 range at mid 90's temps here in Az. I noticed when I drove it home from the exhaust shop, it was MUCH quieter on startup. I had the DB app on my phone and it measured around 10 db's lower at idle. The odd thing is going down the road at 30-40 it was only slightly less as without the new muff.
After taking it for another spin today on and off-road, I have concluded the high db's on the road is due to tire, wind, intake and just basic engine noise since it's almost under your butt and spinning 4 -6k rpm's. Even though the db's are similar at speed, it is definitely easier to deal with without hearing protection than it was before. No more worrying about the pooch's ears either, although I don't take her on-road very often anyway.
When I went off-road is where it really shines. I mean in normal 10 to 25 mph trails where you are not at a constant steady speed, you can actually carry on a conversation. Much more enjoyable, no more yelling and to be honest I am stoked about it.
Next investment will be a Weller tune and let him know about this new exhaust as well as talk to him about clutch weights or anything that may bring back a little bottom end I lost mainly from the 32's. But in reality, it still runs really good for my purposes. Still gets up and scoots when you nail it. Probably wouldn't win a race against a stock one, but that bothers me not in the least. The trade-off is well worth it.
