Complaints. Center console is small but after removing it to run wires, I can see why they had to do it with the new air box. Glove box has plenty of room to make it bigger, Driver's side cubby could be bigger. Wish there was some protection under the radiator overflow tank. Also wish the voltage regulator was more protected but I assume its mounted the way it is to stay cool. Front cage bracing would have been a great place to have a built in grab handle.

Wiring in progress (actually finished up tonight). Took me a while as I decided to solder and shrink wrap all my connections instead of using crimp connectors. Whips, 4" and 6.5" wakeboard speakers, SSV rocker switch stereo, Kicker 8" marine tube sub, MTX sub amp, interior lights, rock lights, Spot and fog lights (waiting on front bumper brackets), backup lights (waiting on bumper). Need to get some picks with everything back together. I would have like to have had a 10" sub but can't see it fitting without a custom made box. Wetsound and kicker are close but you will need to notch the seat frame brackets to get one of them to fit. The JL audio may work but way out of my price range.

Mods so far
Yamaha fold down windshield (got it for steal from the dealer I bought my RMAX4 from)
sway bars removed

Fire extinguisher installed

SSV stereo (amp is small enough to hide behind the firewall)

Pyle 4" wakeboards

Rockville 6.5 wakeboards

MTX Wet series amp

Amp remote

Kicker 8" marine TB sub (I bought this in a kit with amp but the amp that came with it is way to big to mount anywhere hidden)

interior lights

Interior lights switch

rock lights

rock lights switch

backup lights (waiting on bumper to mount. Yamaha bumper ordered from parts pac)

backup lights stwitch

spot and fog lights (waiting on brackets to mount. Yamaha brackets ordered form parts pac)

Spot light switch

Fog light switch

2' whips

Whips mounts

Whips switch

Rear window nets (on order haven't come in)

Trail Armor belly skid (will do a-arms when they get the RMAX4's available)

Siezmik side mirrors

fuse block

seat belt cushions for the kids

grab handles for all the passengers

Personalized license plate (we have to have something with our member number when we ride at Cloud Ranch. I had one of these on my X4 bumper and it fit perfectly)

Going to attempt to paint the Yamaha lettering on the tailgate.

I noticed as I was following my links that a lot of the prices have gone up on stuff I ordered (I tried to order most things on Black Friday and or Cyber Monday). Just food for thought if you like any of this stuff, you may want to wait until another Holiday because the prices may come back down.

Hopefully more to come.

Can’t wait to see how your bronze colored lettering turns out. Had it on my mind too!
That’s the same paint I used on my Gen 1 on the lettering and it’s held up well!
Be sure to wet sand the letters with really fine sand paper to etch it.

Skid plates came in today and I got a notice my parts from partpak have been shipped.
The front, middle and rear fit perfect. Sides don't. Sent an email to trail armor to see if I can exchange just the sides when they become available.

I could help notice that the receiver its still an Open 2" multi piece design.

Why don't they use fully boxed opening. I have seen fully boxed even on some ATV's. Its weaker like this for sure. I put a collar on mine but this is 3-4 generation later and not changed. Those that really use their hitch will want strength. To me this is appalling oversite still done wrong.

Did you use primer too or just etch it with sandpaper?

Also forgot, removed all the Warning stickers. My dad came over while I was doing that and asked why I was removing the sticker by the hitch. I told it said be very careful pulling Honda's as they may fall apart (he has a Pioneer 700) and didn't want him to be worried if I had to pull him.
