I’ve just been sticking my iPhone in my pocket or cup holder so far but it’s getting old so just curious what folks are doing for phone mounts. I don’t use it for navigation mostly just need a secure place to put it that’s easily accessible and I occasional use it for music if the wife goes along. Just wondering what’s been working and more important what’s not been working for everybody. I’m open to anything but sort of curious about options that mount to the passenger grab bar but show me what ya got.

Wife is on her phone constantly when we are riding. Business calls a lot of the time. I mounted an ebay Bull Bar Clamp on the roll cage directly in front of her where she can see her phone light up if she gets a text, email, or call, even if she can't hear it. I made a piece of wood that I attached to the clamp, the correct width, length, and thickness for the clip on her phone's storage case to clip to, stay secure, and still be able to remove quickly to use the phone. On the back side of the piece of wood that the phone clips to I put a small screw where the head of the screw keeps the phone from sliding off the end of the piece of wood, (you can't see it in the picture but it is toward the outside edge of the piece wood on the backside).

I did something equally to that damn near. My phone case has a magnet on the back so instead of wood I mounted a piece of steel to the cage mount.

Have you tried, right clicking in picture, select - "Save image as..." using PC?
or
"Copy image"?

Yeah I’ve got the front and rear bag in my 4 seater and I agree they’re awesome. I’m just looking for something quicker to grab the phone and take a picture or something like that. Agree totally though if I’m by myself the mesh pocket is a good option.

I considered one of the rocker switch ball mount inserts for one of the open spots next to the shifter then adding an extension to get the bracket and phone towards the dash and slightly angled towards the passenger side so the phone would end up at about 2 o’clock low near the 12 volt plug but not sure. I’d rather not have it mounted up on the dash so either low above the windshield would be my preference. I may do some measuring and see what I would need for the center ram mount by the shifter setup. If I could get my phone secured near that 12V outlet that would be great for me.

I should add I can’t use the spots in the dash because I filled them all with switches not long back.

RAM mounts are exceptionally well-designed.
