Having some trouble getting my 5 pin switch working for some pod lights, any help appreciated. Definitely a novice at this stuff but so far haven't had any luck using the accessory plugs. This same setup worked when I tested it directly connected to the battery but when using the plug it will only click on the backlit LED in the switch for a second when flipping the switch on and off. For reference I am using this premade harness from Amazon Amazon.com: OFFROADTOWN Wiring Harness, 2 Leads Wire with Rocker Switch 12V 40A Fuse Power Relay Wiring Harness for Heavy Duty Fog Lights LED Light Bars LED Pods Trucks ATV UTV Boat: Automotive

1st Pic: EMP adapter plugged into pre-wired accessory plug.

Can you reshare the pictures? They aren't pulling up for me. Thanks!

If you are using the wire adapter 5KM-86171-00-00
Then you need to disassemble and only use the end that plugs into the connecter on the machine.
The red and black from the disassembled end now are the positive and negative that will match the connecter. They get wired the positive and negative in the Amazon wire picture in your link.
You only need the red and black, you don't need the red from the splice down.

The red and black get connected to the pre-made harness's positive and negative.
