No 3rd party stuff, but there may be some dealers making bulk orders. Looks like a few are putting in bigger orders. Nothing huge, but 3, 5, 10, here and there, so they added up quick.

I just received my guards. They will add more than enough protection. I’m thinking about adding some insulation behind them. Sound mitigation and hold in a little heat maybe?

I put mine on last weekend . The fit is so tight that I had to enlarge the most lateral bolt hole on each side but once in place everything is good. It would have been easier if all bolts were the same length. I got two which were barely long enough to engage the nylon on the locknuts. I consider this a very worthwhile safety upgrade for my machine. Now my Canned Ham buddies want some too.

Agree 100% ....I can't imagine that there is a deference.
Yamaha should have made the change by beefing up the area before someone is injured..... but I seriously doubt that this is a priority. I would be happily shocked if they changed it in the 2022. Buy the guards. I'll bet Ya a lunch they'll fit!
