Christmas came a week early today. HaHaHa. No, just super excited. After seeing Jareds latest video the other day I thought I'd shoot him a text when he said accessories were arriving. Got lucky out at Big Pine again. Figured if I was going to open up the dash again to do a light bar. I may as well install this gem while I was in there. Especially since I even came across one being Yamaha accessories are rare to get right now.

 

So how hard is the radio install is it something that I can do in the barn or do I need to take it to the dealership to install?? I like doing a lot of my own stuff to save money for more stuff I can add to my machine.

 

Nice find I have been looking for Yamaha accessories and there all backorder or unavailable at the time. I want that radio system so much. I’ll give your $100 for it right now and I’ll throw in a shiny nickel and 2 dogs and 7 chickens and a goat.

How is the sound quality and the speaker under the seat still fit with the extra dual battery ?

 

Sound is definitely better than the factory MTX sound bar in my General Deluxe but nowhere near a good car stereo. I only have the door speakers so maybe the sub would help. Pretty loud and has a little base in it. Will distort a little if you turn it all the way up. For the money you can probably find something that sounds better but you won't find anything that mounts better than this. At least not yet.

 

Ya. I will definitely leave that aux. input off. Don't need it. I stopped using the 3.5mm jack type input years ago.

 

I have them in my truck now and don’t use them. I would never use them in the side by side. Wish I could play videos or watch YouTube on the adventure screen.

 

Just got the Bandit helper springs and the Ryco street legal kit today. Still waiting for the front skid plate(just ordered) and my replacement wiring harness for my Yamaha light bar that was faulty. Of course, the light bar wiring harness is on back-order and am hoping to see that by the end of this year. The rest was ordered and shipped(and scheduled to arrive) to my house in three days.

 

Shit. It is Christmas early. LOL. I just opened my front door and UPS brought some more presents. I ordered a horn setup and a USB rocker insert. Looks like I got lots of wiring to look forward to.

 

I installed the USB plug just a heads up its a bit wider than the switches probably because of the little transformer. I had to file a bit of the plastic on the switch space to get it to fit. That horn switch looks awesome.

 

What did you search for to get those on Amazon? I like those and I want a horn!!

I edited this post and removed the link that I had posted for the horns due to myself and other forum members receiving wrong horn kits from amazon when ordering them.

 

Just punch in "rocker switch" in the search bar. Can add more specifics like blue led or DPDT.
I ordered a bunch from aliexpress. Interior lights/rock lights/fog lamps/rear lights/light bar/signal lights/horn. And a couple more I can't remember.

Got this yesterday... superatv flip. Nice piece of kit. Came with some stickers too. I love decals.

One set of the decals says "Built for Battle" which I'll stick on to this thing..

After the Christmas Holiday I will be installing lighted side mirrors and a horn system, in the early spring will be getting Tusk Terrabites

 

I picked up a small Coleman Fold N Go propane grill for my RMAX4. Enough room on the grill for 4 burgers and a few hot dogs. Storage is quite limited on the RMAX4 and this small grill fits perfectly in the rear cargo box. Always nice to have a warm meal on the trail, especially in the winter...

I also added a small neoprene tube cooler from Amazon. It fastens with Velcro to the rear roll bar. Fits 6 cans and is easily accessible from the rear of the RMAX.

 

So I posted that my horn kit came yesterday. I had opened the package which contained a plain brown box inside that just had a small whit sticker on it with a model number on it but had not opened that box yet. I popped it open today in hopes to install it when I was doing the stereo today. To make a long story short the wrong horn kit was sent to me. They sent me a dual air horn. My buddy that was over hanging out said I should keep and install it. Not my style though. Come on Amazon. Now I gotta send it back.

 

They look so loud you should keep them!!!

 

BTW. Got the stereo installed today. Love it!!! Just wish it lit up blue like everything else.

I've been doing the same. First ever atv/utv.
Got the windshield sitting on the living room floor, winch, mirrors, grab handles, rear lights, side lights, front lights, interior lights, a bunch of switches, wiring, fuse block.

Went through my tool boxes and took out some extra tools/parts to put in my Rmax kit. Tire plug kit, got a tow strap, rope, snatch block, scissor jack.

Still waiting on front A-arm guards, front skid plate, and d-mode switch.

I use some similar to these. I installed the cig jacks right next to the seats. Sorry I don't have a good pic of those jacks.

Got my front brush guard installed,

 

You vacuum your shop with a Dyson Vacuum!!?? Damn! No wonder you had enough money for an LE!!!

 

When installing the brush guard on the XT-R and the LE versions you have to cut off the "ears" on the plastic that covers the original guard. you don't have to do this on the standard version. I used a Dremel with a cutoff blade.

 

Eventually the pods with speaker should be released by themselves if you want to run a different head unit. Look on Yamaha's accessory website at the hard cab encloser for the part numbers. I called my dealer about it as I'm running the SSV works rocker switch radio and he couldn't give me pricing yet. He said that most likely means they are coming but not available yet. For now I'm using wake board speakers. Two behind the front seats and two behind the rear seats. Eventually I will probably remove the ones behind the front seats and use the door speakers instead when they become available by themselves.
