New to the forum. Having some difficulty finding a spare tire steel wheel for 2021 rmax2 1000 XT-R. No one has 2021 part numbers up yet, apparently. Don't want an OEM wheel. Stock tire is 30X10R14.

Any help with specs, or a steel wheel make/part number would be greatly appreciated.

Update. Still looking for a non-OEM spare tire wheel for my Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R. Though not an exact fit, I checked the fit of the 14x7 4/156 4+3 offset Quadboss Steely wheel, courtesy of Brad at SideBySideSports.com. It seated against the hub, but there was NO clearance between the front caliper and wheel. I didn't bother to mount the lug nuts, as clearance was going to be a problem. The OEM wheel slopes away from the caliper, providing about 1/4" to 3/8" clearance.

R1JW72Z - I finally purchased a STI #14HD303NHD 14x7 4/156 4+3 Gloss Black Machined wheel, which clears the front calipers with room to spare. These are cosmetically nice but probably not heavy duty wheels. Also purchased 4 special lug nuts, as the OEM lug nuts are too large for that wheel. OEM nuts: 0.85 in diameter at the cone, hex: 3/4", overall length: 1.25", 60 degree cone. The STI wheel will not accept larger than 0.75 in (19mm) diameter (at the cone) nut. They come with special tool to allow fastening. It slips over splines on the nuts. I carry the spare lugs and tool in my tool pouch. Don't have make/model for the said lugs. BTW OEM stud size is 12X1.25 mm.

5+2 and 4+3 both work just fine regarding a 14x7 wheel.

M.O. went with a 6+1 try to narrow up his stance for trail restrictions and he had to grind away some caliper to get them on. My guess was the Quadboss wheel sent to tomritch was the wrong one, or it was actually closer to a 6+1 in measured millimeters regarding offset.

When you look at different wheels from different companies that say 5+2 etc. they are not all the same. If you can find out what the offset is in millimeters they can vary greatly even though they all may say 5+2.

Going back to the thread Rockit401 put up above, the info is in there. Stock front wheel is +34mm offset but is narrower than a 7” wide wheel. Most 5+2 wheels are a +30mm offset and keep the machine very close to stock width. Just don’t be greater than +34mm on the wheel you choose and you should be fine!
