Nice rig!! I have the over-fenders on my RMAX4 and really like them. Nice tires too! Once you get some miles on them, I hope you'll report back and let us know how you like them in different types of terrain. I don't think you should let trimming your covers sway you from installing the brush guard. Yamaha knows it requires some trimming and at the bottom of their page noted "Requires trimming of XT-R and Limited Edition Front Bar Carry covers". When I was getting ready to order mine, I looked up the covers that require trimming to see how much replacements would cost me. You have to cut the nubs off of Cover 1 (tag 3) and Cover 2 (tag 4) on the "Guard" OEM parts schematic. Part #'s B4J-F842M-00-00 and B4J-F842N-00-00. Right now, $11.88 each at rockymountainatvmc.com or $9.55 each at partzilla.com. I don't remember if "Cover, Front" (part # B4J-F286H-10-00) required trimming, but it's $3.38 at RATV or $2.34 at Partzilla. So, approximately $25-$30 worth of replacement parts if you ever decided to swap back (I doubt it). I'm sure my brush guard has already saved me several times that cost in what it has protected. Hope this helps. Thanks for sharing!Installed rear OEM over-fender flairs (fronts aren't in yet), rear bumper, set of side mirrors, and was getting ready to install the OEM front brush guard until I found out I had to actually cut some plastic off the front end. No thanks! I'm sure this has been brought up before about the OEM brush guard, but...c'mon! Not sure who designed the brush guard, but evidently they didn't discuss it with Yamaha.

This looks promising. I’m curious to know how much this deadens the noise.Foam is up, even though it will be covered my the bag. I also installed my spare tablet that had my VVmapping on it
