O that dreaded break-in period every new machine has to go through. Luckily, I'm finally past that period with the X4. Now it's time to get the break-in service done so I can really put the machine through its paces. First up on the agenda, oil change!

Some tips: Jack up the rear end when changing the oil filter and the tire will be out of your way. Use a cap filter wrench. My old 2015 Toyota RAV4 cap filter wrench worked perfectly. There's really not enough room to use a plier/scissor style oil filter wrench and if you do try using one you run the risk of hitting the oil pressure switch and possibly braking it. When filling her up, the engine has to be THROUGHLY warmed up and DO NOT fill to the top of the hatch marks or you could get oil into you air intake tract: https://www.wolverineforums.com/for...verine-x2-x4-general-discussion/24858-x4-oil-puddling-intake-ducting-issue.html

So, I noticed in the manual that it tells you to wait 10 seconds after running it and also tells you wait at least 10 min to check the level. So what is it? I thought with a dry sump, you check in quickly after running it and not to wait 10 min to check it.
