I will definitely check out the booster seat route to save cash for other upgrades. My rig is supposed to deliver in June and I can just use one of the ones we already have. Hopefully I can fit it without hacking so I can just move it back to the car when not in use. I'm glad to hear an 8 yo can still use the bump seat if that ends up making more sense.

My machine comes Friday hopefully and I have already got the it mountain bump seat. I see you still have your center console lid on. Their site says you must remove it? Did you make some mods or is the site wrong?

I didn't need to remove mine and made no modifications

Just installed mine most definitely needed to remove lid and it still almost touch's. As others have stated two of the supplied bolts are way too long. I think I'll modify the brackets to raise seat up a little more and put lid back on. Brackets are also rather flimsy....

When routing belt through seat I could not get straps over internal support like I thought they should be so to how foam is made. When you tighten straps it actually pulls at seat cover... Not overly impressed.

Cheapest route to go is using a car booster seat - full back sized one that hold kids up to like 80 lbs.
I picked one up on Craigslist for $10 and chopped the rear plastic a little for a better seating angle for the kid. It works up front and in the rear middle space.
I used paracord to synch it down to the seat belt mounts and then also to the crossbar behind it. They come with the belts to secure to brackets in an automobile so everything is already there for you.
Thing locks in really good and it also had a 5 point harness so you're all set and can remove it in a few minutes
Wondering if you have any pics of the booster seat? I am thinking about that or the rear bench.

One of the things I had planned for the RMAX 4 was to make sure our family could fit so I purchased the UTVMA Bump Seat and Rear bench. Pleasant experience and the shipping was quick. Got around to installing them Sunday night and I think they turned out better than I expected! Sucks a bit to lose the ability to slide the seats forward but I all in all a win in my books.

The installation was pretty easy for both. I do believe I will be getting some shaft collars to keep the belts from sliding but not a huge deal right now.

Are you overall happy, with this bench seat? I'm looking at the same one, now.

Yeah it's been great! Held up nicely so far and the harnesses are nice.

Looks great, i have a family of 5 and am thinking about getting the rear bench seat but the middle seat looks its designed only for a small child...which would work out for me now , but in a few years probably not which is really the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on it.
