I'm in the process of replacing the pads on my X2 for the first time. 1100mi. Is there a break in procedure for the new pads?

light sand scuff of rotors if not new. On flat ground if possible- 10 slow stops at 5 mph, 10 slow stops at 10 mph, Cool down, 10 slow stops at 15 mph, 10 slow stops at 20 mph. Cool down.
