With our machined sheave and power commander neither of which are available, I hit 60 mph today.

Not bad. We got 59 mph on the road with just a JBS sheave, no cdi box.

awesome! in 6 months I want to do something clutch wise. need to study up. however my mods will be to improve crawling ability with 28s over the rocks and up canyons. I would like an increase to 60mph which I feel is just right for a top speed on gravel roads.

Wonder what it would do with aftermarket exhaust and that fuel controller. Also saw where you put in the slugs for the clutch.. does that improve any topend or that all lowend grab.

Cant say on the exhaust until we test one, I did make a tip that freed up the exhaust and not more gains

The slug kit is for the low end grab as you mentioned. Basically once the wet clutch engages it is in engaged so it only comes into play under 2 mph
