I got my rock sliders mounted earlier today. I think they look really good on the gray. Hopefully they hold up and work just as good.
There isn't any part number on the package. This is all it says.Do you have the part number for that table cradle?
Thanks! First of all the 4 seat RMAX doesn't come with the same size wheel and tire all the way around like the 2 seat RMAX does. My main complaint about the RMAX4. Putting a square setup on it allows the ability to rotate tires and IMO also handles way better. My setup also widened my overall stance as well which increased stability. When you go to a square tire setup on the 4 seater it will naturally end up a tad wider in the front though. Hence the spacers. I always like to be a bit wider in the rear if I can't be perfectly square. I usually prefer my suspension set to soft as well so being wider in the rear especially helps keep it very stable with the extra body roll you get with the soft setting. Here's the link to the RMAX wheel and tire thread. There's lots of good info. there.I really like your tire/wheel setup. Can you tell me what the difference is between your wheels and the stock wheels? Are they different sizes? And was the rear wheel spacers just a nice-to-have, or were they necessary with your setup? Also, with the new wheels/tires, do you have any problems with tires rubbing?
Thanks for the good information. I’m thinking about buying the RMAX4 LE and I would want to upgrade the tires. My questions of concern are:Thanks! Ride looks great with that set-up. I was thinking of doing the same but had concerns on how the starring would be affected. Thanks! RMAX 1000 Wheel Size/Offset & Tire Type/Size Thread
Being DOT approved isn't necessary. Not all good radials are DOT approved. And sometimes it even depends on the size. For instance some of the Maxxis Liberty sizes are DOT approved but the 30X10X14 I have are not. As far as beadlocks. I love mine but and they allow running lower tire pressures but not everybody likes them. You will want to get new wheels though if you want the same size tire all the way around and be able to rotate due to the stock wheels being narrower in the front than the rear. Thanks for the good information. I’m thinking about buying the RMAX4 LE and I would want to upgrade the tires. My questions of concern are:
-DOT tires or no?
-New bread lock wheels or stock?
I am in hurricane Utah, so most of my riding would be at sand hollow. Appreciate any input I can get from anyone.
Your steering will be fine with a 5+2 offset wheel. You will lose some turning radius if you go extra wide and run a 4+3 offset.Ride looks great with that set-up. I was thinking of doing the same but had concerns on how the starring would be affected.
I assume you’d be doing some rock crawling? not just trail riding. If so I’d definitely go to a bead lock and air down. Thanks for the good information. I’m thinking about buying the RMAX4 LE and I would want to upgrade the tires. My questions of concern are:

The plug was under seat already? For about $15 only Yamaha should put this in every models. I sure most people won't use it often but for that cheap just throw it in. View attachment 99063
Yes, but it is already connected in the XT-R and Limited Edition models that come with it already. I remember seeing it back when I installed my seat belt bypass. The installation was super quick and easy. I plan on doing a thread on adding this that will list the part numbers needed so that other R-SPEC owners that may want to ad it can more easily do so.The plug was under seat already?
