Decided that I should ad a most recent pic to this first post and keep it updated as time goes on:

So first thing I had to put in was the OEM full poly windshield. Especially because then I would know where I could mount my mirrors. The installation went very smooth just like it did on my X4 back in the day. It uses the same quick release clamps even. It also has the same wraparound the roll cage style as the X4 one did. This works great in deflecting wind and rain. I love it and it came out very nice. I may have to make adjustments to it when my suntop shows up but we'll see.

Now it was time to mount the mirrors. I went with the Seizmik Strike Mirrors again on my RMAX. They look amazing and fit perfect with the Yamaha poly windshield. They also have an amazing warranty. They installed very easily and very quickly. A must if you ask me.

Ok now I had to disable that darn seatbelt speed limiter before it even had the chance to annoy me. It turns out that it is the exact same bypass plug that the X4/X2, YXZ, Viking, and Gen 1 Wolverine use. It is super simple to install on the RMAX4 too. There is an access panel right when you open the drivers door that comes of quickly by removing 3 hex screws and 2 body clips. Once its removed you can reach right in and disconnect the plug and attach the bypass plug. The whole procedure only took about 15 minutes. Including reassembly.

Here is the link to the bypass plug that I purchased:

Oh ya. I didn't let my anti theft device go with the X4 when I sold it and it fits. Not quite as good as it did the X4 but it will do the job. 😎

Hey wolvyman, are they 1.75” or 2” clamps? My Viking seems to measure 1.75”. Just waiting on delivery of rmax, getting a little excited lol. Congrats on your rig !

The bottoms flip upward from the back and the seat backs then can slide forward after pulling up the spring load lever to unlatch them. Is super simple to do. Ill post some pics soon for ya.

Picked up my new wheel/tire setup yesterday when I dropped off the RMAX to get the 1st service done and have the front diff leak fixed. I can't wait to get it back and mount them up. They are 14x7 5+2 Tusk Teton beadlocks in Black/Gunmetal with 30x10r14 Maxxis Liberty tires mounted on them. I also have 1" wheel spacers to put on the rear. They should make for a nice square set up that is a tad bit wider in the back just like I measured on the stock wheels and tires. I will get measurements of the front and rear for everybody when I get them on.

Got the RMAX back yesterday and installed the new wheels and tires. I definitely need a bigger jack for this thing. The suspension droops so far. You have to get it up really high to especially get the rear tires off. And then to put larger one on you gotta go higher. When smoothly though and Im very happy with the results.

Couldn’t help but notice the Perfex sticker???
Well fred from Perfex contacted me a couple weeks ago about something and I let him know I sold my X4 and picked up the RMAX4. He was bummed. He loved my X4 but he digs the new RMAX as well. He told me though that he was expecting to get one in a couple of weeks to see if he could do a lift for it. I let him know that the rear suspension of the RMAX2 and RMAX4 were totally different so he would have to do 2 different kits. A fact he was grateful for because he didn't now. Hopefully he keeps me posted but as far as the stickers go I had those left from the X4 lift and since he was so cool working with on that and is trying to get one going for the RMAX I thought I'd advertise for him. Plus the colors tied right in. lol. 😎

How the 4 seater should have come from the factory. Square setup looks a lot better and allows swapping tires. I always wear down the rears a lot faster so square is the only way to go. Nice upgrade!
Agreed. It was one of only a couple bitches I had about the RMAX4. No square tire setup so I would have to drop extra coin right off the bat. Especially when the 2 seater comes with it and they offer it as an optional accessory. It is most definitely the only way to go.

Maybe if you send a pic of that to him you’ll get a discount! LOL

WOW...looks awesome wolvymanx4!!!!
Thanks man! Very happy with the results. Those Maxxis Liberty tires are a true 30" tire too. Unlike the 30"s that come one the RMAX2 that in reviews measure out at 29". These give me noticeably more ground clearance.
