Last I recall, we (US) don't control our Ports and haven't for a long time.
Different Countries do IIRC, think France has that one.
Last POTUS was going to change that, but I don't know.

Need to start making more Products here and problem solved.

Agreed. These images show us how dependent we have become on other countries.

Yea, and just wait till gas gets to $4.00+ a gallon in the Mid and Southern U.S. and $5+ in California from the Green New Deals, and from shutting down the Keystone Pipe Line Construction, and we start buying crude from the Saudi's again. Then the boating industry and the motorhme/travel trailer industries will tank again just like they did a few years ago, and there goes the economy and jobs again. Be prepared it's coming. Sad part about it is that all of those individuals who voted for this president don't realize what they have done and will come up with every excuse in the world to blame the problems they created on something else, but ultimately only have themselves to blame for the high gas prices coming (this drives all prices up due to higher transportation costs) and slowly causes a worsening economy and the majority of them will be the ones to suffer the most. Maybe next election time people will see what the liberal policies cause, but I'm not holding my breath for it. I wonder how much Texans like their "clean energy" frozen up windmills and snow covered solar panels right now. So much for my $.02.

Yes, all those ships should be OUTBOUND not inbound, our dependency is friggin idiocy. It's only going to get worse till maybe 2022 or 2024.

Please educate yourselves on the keystone pipeline. None of that oil was destined for the USA, it was canadian oil piped through US A, and loaded onto ships as Crude, and exported internationally where it was rto be refined and distributed . No USA refining Jobs, no USA access to the oil. so how does that double fuele prices here in the USA?

It also eliminated 8,000+ plus jobs. Believe what you want to.

Then why was it being sent to Texas refineries?? They could put it on ships for export without piping it to the US. Education is a wonderful thing, aint it.

During Covid, parts were hard for everyone to get as even my jeep and truck buddies were sitting on jack stands waiting.
Nobody wanted to go out and play since parts were hard to get and everyone that did go crowded up the less technical trails taking it easy.
Most of my orders for the X2 were getting cancelled either immediately or months later.

When the Keystone Pipeline would ultimately have been completed and millions of barrels of crude were flowing through the U.S. to U.S. ports, who you think is getting the export taxes and all those 1,000s of jobs created. Anyone that thinks that new agreements would not have been made when it was finished where the U.S. would benefit from another source of oil passing through the full length of the U.S. and the leverage that would create for the U.S. in controlling the cost of that crude, maintaining the pipeline, and ultimately using it, needs to quit listening to the news media and think some common sense for themselves.

I filled up a couple of days ago and 87 octane was up 54 cents per gallon. The so-called experts are speculating it will be more than $3.00 by May and north of 4 bucks by the end of summer. The global warming in Texas that froze everything will also have a lasting impact on price per gallon whether it should or not.

Will $4.00 plus gasoline change your riding activities or will you just suck it up. All of the places I ride are 4-8 hours away which will increase the cost of travel significantly. Your thoughts?

I'll throw my .02 into the pot, not going to repeat what others already stated in this post but lets just say I'm in agreement 93% so far with all that has been said up to this point.
Here we are 1 month since Biden was inaugurated the liberals and all others who voted for him cannot see the forest for the trees, their pure hatred for Trump has already taken it's toll on this Country and its only been a month!
As for gas prices rising I still plan on going down to HMT April15-18 but that will probably be the only trip of distance I do until at least October I'll have the Rmax at the lake property through the spring and summer, we have a really decent place to ride up there that is private owned(he rides with us) and Mountain Ridge ATV Park is an hours drive away, will the higher gas prices keep me from joy riding a lot, yes but I'm still going to have fun riding this season!

Back to the rest of my .02 cents, Biden and the rest of the crooks has already proven that the right needs to regain control in 2022 I hope that happens for everyone's sake or America as we once knew it is truly gone !
I don't see 45 running again in 2024 but I do see Donald Trump Jr putting his hat in the ring and running in 24 !

I still have a goal of a minimum of 500 miles this summer riding.. which doesn't sound like a lot, but it is for us. We have littles, in over 2 years of ownership our quad only had 800mi on it when sold. Which is why we sold it and are waiting on the 4 seater sxs. This way no one is left behind (minus little man due to his age).

in michigan we will have to travel a couple hours to ride, but when we do, we will easily do 100mi if not more each time. Depending on fuel costs, we might take the wife's yukon v my 3/4 ton cummins to pull the toy with, but we will see. We also plan on making one big trip to Wisconsin to ride with my brother and his family. Only time will tell

Man, some of you folks really have a hate on for your country. Gas prices are a global thing. They are rising up here too, Biden doesn't have much to do with it, certainly not with a month in..

1.26 per liter for premium here today. It was a buck a liter here a couple months back. Which puts it about 4.10 per gallon US today..

And how we got to this from some transport ships in a harbour... lol

after watching the whole video you can also see the ports seem to be filled to the gills with containers. it's like they are unloading ships, but then the cargo isn't going anywhere! Should have trucks right there to take them (or you would think)

Maggot,

I as an American have my reasons for disagreeing with the left and what they have become, I was once a Democrat with strong conservative views then around 2011 I went with my conscious and registered Republican because of Obama and well he was destroying the Country that I love! I've been extremely happy ever since ,so with that being said I'm not getting into a pissing contest with you over politics, I don't make comments about Canadian Politics either way if you like them or disagree with them and I think I speak for most of us here in the States when I say that!

the one thing I have said and will continue to say is I disagree with the Canadian Government allowing the PRC to train on Canadian soil , We have Russia right off the West Coast, Cuba to the South and now have China north of the border, just do us Americans a favor, keep the PRC north of our border ! Mic drop...…..I'm done !

Nope, not the country, socialist leaders in government, that plot their overreach daily, who only want power and control through negating our constitution, ruining the economy, open borders, high taxes to take care of millions of illegal immigrants before our own citizens, denying personal freedoms, lies, and high minded BS talking points to get their power.

And we're not going to have it, unlike some other places / people that just go with the flow. Not happening here. People that have never had these freedoms or way of life will not understand it's value or why it should be fought for.
