Driving in the rain and getting peppered in the face with water after I paid a few hundred dollars for a windshield driving me nuts, I knew I had to do something. I ended up finding some rubber weatherstripping in a P shape from Amazon.

I put a strip of that on the top of the windshield and also on the the lip of the roof that hangs down. They now overlap, so I think I should be good. THe only thing that concerns me is that the 3M tape doesnt hold when bombing down road, the air current might grab the edge and pull it off. The 3M adhesive doesnt seem to be that strong (its probably not 3M).

Sorry, the pic needs to be rotated 90* clockwise.

I also used the same stuff to help seal the rear passenger door where the hinges meet the roll cage.

Do you have the same windshield? Mine seems to set back further inside on the top...

My only concern is the "3M tape" on the weather stripping. I think its a Chinese knock of, cause it didn't stick that well at first. I havent driven with it yet, so Im not sure if the wind will cause it to fall off or not. Maybe I didnt clean the surface as good as I thought.

Looking at windshield online up here (kimpex) and it shows two types of super adv flip ups. One where the top up the shield swings inside the cab as discussed here. There site also shows another where the top piece is fixed, and a couple inches down hinges across the shield. Called the rocker.

641 for the one I'm talking about.
623 for the one discussed here.

Couple pics from there site. Not very good. The 2nd pic shows a different machine.

I saw in one of your posts you had a discount for your windshields I'm looking at ordering one for my 2019 rspec. Any chance I could get that? Thanks I do have one question on the flip up. The handles that latch the windshield into positions now have two on the side. Do those pose a hazard to passengers if they move forward?
