Does anyone that has a SSV stereo know if it will lose its memory if its hooked to switched power instead of directly to the battery? Thanks

I have no experience with this particular radio, but radio's in general require constant power to retain memory. They consume next to nothing when turned off, so battery draw shouldn't be an issue unless it sits for weeks, maybe months, with out being started

I wanted an all in one unit, just to keep things simple.
Mine loses its memory. I only use the iPod hookup so that isn't a big deal to me. Would be if I had FM stations set. I hooked it to a button to completely isolate it and not to draw any power while the machine is sitting.

SSV is a nice fit. Had one in my Maverick and now my Wolverine. Only complaint with them is both of mine seem to randomly shut off. I have heard of others doing that. I will probably gut mine an put my own internals in eventually.
