Do the rear rims on the rmax4 need to be changed to match the front for a square setup?
I believe you need matching rims and a spacer in the back on the 4 seaters. at least that is how it is on my X4

Hey thanks. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that.
You can do a square set up on the stock rmax4 wheels but you loose a bit of diameter on the rear due to the width of the rear wheel. (I've done it) but it looks weird... I ended up finding two more stock front wheels for the rear. Also, I originally had spacers on the rear (1 inch) but they stuck out too far and threw mud everywhere. let me know if you need pics.

So would I. When the factory tires wear out I’m planning to square it up with 31’s or 32’s depending on the gains from whatever springs I decide on.
