Rocker switch for winch

So those two wires from the winch solenoid are for nothing? I already have the remote hooked up. It was a dealer warn winch setup.
Did you look at the drawing in the above link in regard to an older post? It will answer your question. I'll repost the diagram below.

The Green Wire is most likely the (+) wire for the "Winch In" part of the switch. The Black Wire is most likely the (+) for the "Winch Out" part of the switch. You do not have pictured a wire for the (+) power to the switch coming from a keyed source of 12v power.

Those two small green ended wires look to small to handle the power draw of a winch under load.
These 2 small wires do not carry the power to operate the winch, they only carry a very small amount of current to activate the solenoid, that in turn provides the current/higher amperage to operate the winch.

Only the part outlined in the black box, at the bottom, is what you are wanting to know.
