Has anyone removed the plastic shoulder guard yet? I sat in one and didn't like the guard or the doors. I'm thinking about removing them when I get mine. Is it hard? Does it look ok without them?

Also I would like to remove the plastic doors too. Is it hard?

Door removal is easy, a few bolts. The shoulder bolster is integral to the seat, though I am sure it could be removed. I didn't even look at how it was attached.

Ya it may seem awkward if you haven't driven it yet, but the shoulder bolster actually does a good job IMO. The doors are a little uncomfortable on my knee though after a long ride.

I looked at one today. It doesn't look like the shoulder guard will come off. I'm really wide and my shoulder hits it.

That shoulder guard is kinda comfy to lean on when you are just easing along & especially comfy if you are riding on a road that tilts you to that side a little.

originally I was going to remove mine but time spent in it I have found it does not bother me. indeed an advantage to leave intact.
