Anyone with an Alpine white that has aluminum wheels painted them black yet? I am thinking on it not sure how to get paint to stick with the coating that is on them or how to remove it!

ive never painted aluminum wheels but ive used aluminum etching primer on boats works good

I would recommend taking them to a powder coater. They can blast away the only coating and apply the new.

Does anyone have an idea how much it would cost to powder coat wheels as opposed to buying new wheels?

I pay $20/wheel for powder coating. You then have to consider new valve stems and mount/dismount.
