Pardon my ignorance, but I’ve been looking into putting OnX on my Adventure Pro. Question is, I have OnX on my phone. Do I have to have a separate subscription for each?
Thanks.

So it won’t work like it does on my IPhone? I’m trying to decide between using the AP for OnX or buying a dedicated unit for navigation. I dig OnX on my phone.
If I remember, it was turned sideways. It was horrible. I just deleted it from the AP after a ride or two. It definitely wasn’t worth anything. You can probably just use the AP map and supplement it with your phone, or you can go through the process/expense of adding a tablet.
I tried to get Onx to work on the AP never did get it figured out. I sold the AP then used a piece of black plastic mudflap behind the dash to fill the hole and mounted an Ipad mini to it with velcro. Works great fits the space perfectly and can run any mapping app you choose.
FYI, if you want to use an iPad, it'll need to be one that has cell service in it as well as the GPS and cell phone radio are on the same chip internally. The non cell phone versions don't have GPS.
