Hello Timmi thanks for sharing all the infos and all others has well : so from what i am seeing so far the 3 main things that i don't like about my 2012 Rhino is in order 1. Noise level 2. heat in the cab 3. i little bit more speed. So the new wolverine corrects no 2 and 3 very easy as for no 1 its seems better since the motor is further back and the bed is in composite instead of metal but i want to know by how much.. For those who will tried it ..please try to answer thoses points 1. at 40 mph can you talk to your partner without any discomfort. 2. adding the plastic window at the back does it help or make it worst 3. does the DOHC help reducing the roaring of the motor.

i won't change the rhino this year but in 2016 if the sound level is fairly reduce....

It's a lot quieter than a Rhino. At 40 mph it begins to get loud because the machine tops out at just over 50 mph. At 25-30 it's more comfortable to talk. The back panel is plastic so it doesn't rebound noise, actually makes it quieter I think. The dohc isn't queiter but placing it farther to the rear helps.

My thoughts are like yours and I just purchased a wolverine. Noise level is improved, but still pretty darn loud in my opinion. Quieter than rhino at slower speeds, still loud when over 25-30. Power is a little better I'd say, nothing crazy. My rhino wasn't hot with the 1/2 shield, so no comment there. You'll just have to try one.

put on about 20 miles this afternoon. nice machine, great suspension, visibility is good. no heat to speak of in the cab with the full shield, they sealed up behind the seats pretty well unlike the rhino. GET THE MUD GUARDS. lol. you get covered in shit with this thing. mine are on order. the noise level could have been improved more in my opinion. it doesn't vibrate or rattle like the rhino, so the sound signature is a little different, better in that aspect. when going slow and creeping along between 5-10mph, the sound level is much improved over my rhino 700, cut in half I would say. after 15mph or so you start getting that cvt whine, and engine noise. I don't think the noise level would be much different than the rhino at the higher speeds. the true test is when the wife comes with me, her hearing isn't the best, I will see how loud I have to yell for her to hear me. Polaris definitely has the noise thing down, but I just can't bring myself to buy one.
