So...I must have hit a big rock and not realized it last time I was out. Took a nasty chunk out... I made a hillbilly replacement for now. It is 1/8" plate with 1" heavy washers welded on to protect the heads of the factory bolts. I will get the proper skid plates once I can afford them, but this should do for now lol.

Ouch! Think you would of felt that? I don't understand how all the skid plstes are metal and that's plastic. If it were me and I cracked it like you I'd just make a metal one and call it good. Why buy another plastic one to break?

LOL when I said proper I meant aluminum. Yamaha has a complete set for like 500$, but I don't have that kinda coin right now.

That sucks, nice work on the fab though. That would look bad ass in diamond plate!
Hey Thanks, I wasn't going for looks, hence the random gray paint, it's all I had on the shelf lol. It honestly started as a temporary replacement, but if the cheapo factory bolts hold up, I may keep it on there lol. maybe paint it black though lol.
