Anyone else had the issue of the motor cutting out when in low range and lockers engaged? Not hitting a rev limiter type cutting out, just like a mis-fire when in low, locked, and hardly any accelerator...
is the red light flashing on the dash? if so that means the diff is not locked ... try turning the steering wheel side to side and that will lock the diff
It's a safety so you can't stab the throttle with the differential half locked and grenade the front differential. Wait until the light quits flashing and it won't do that
There's a thread on it here somewhere but if you're having trouble getting it to engage try rocking the steering wheel side to side a few times or tapping the throttle.
