Our province is now in a state of emergency. Starting tomorrow a stay at home order has be issued. After waiting months for my RMAX I’m grounded for at least the next 28 days.

I’ll be glad when the virus is behind us and things return to normal.

Wow that sucks!
Sorry to hear, out here when they had the order in place it just meant that outdoor activities got more popular.

No kidding. There were no 4 seater SxS to be found in MN at the end of last summer, at least no good ones (Yamaha) at the time. It looks that way for the ice fishing too. There's a shit ton of people on the lakes.

Don't be so sure...although Dougie said stay at home - they also said limit outside social gatherings to 5 people or less. So you still might be able to drive it - you just have to stay in your district. Although, they might change and clarify things over the next couple of days. I snowmobile and so far they haven't cancelled it...

Everyone needs to be careful up in the woods on the SxS's...those trees, mud holes, and rocks are simply festering with Covid ready to pounce...

Yah the lock downs are a load of :poop: and all about control. What happened, I thought MASKS worked? If so, we should all be perfectly safe. Buckle up people, you aint seen nothing yet.

Not to get too political here, but our leadership and citizens have a very different view than your leadership has about covid.. Our province had 2 cases yesterday. We paid attention from the get go. No lockdowns now, gyms are open, kids are in school.
Gramps is an area of a high population and a lot of folks didn't do what was asked. So here we are.

As for the flu or getting a cold. 1st yr since I can remember with having school kids, that I haven't caught anything. Who'd a thought masks and washing hands would have such an effect.

The so called leadership has a taste for it now... lockdowns will be the new "normal". On the plus side, Covid-19 did cure the flu!!

I decided to go for a ride today. We sure had a mixed bag of weather. Started out with freezing rain then it changed to ice pellets, then snow before changing to rain. We still enjoyed the day. We did 120km (75 miles). I now have 330 km and 10 hours. Thankfully I haven't had any issues at all. I LOVE this RMAX. It's so much better than my X2.
I guess we'll see what happens with the lockdown. Hopefully it doesn't get extended beyond the 28 days.

Unfortunately where I live there aren't any trails. I have to trailer my RMAX to get to trails. I don't see the harm in riding on the trails providing we social distance. I know the ATV clubs delayed opening trails last spring because of Covid. I guess we'll have to wait and see if they clarify things.

Just beg for forgiveness and plead ignorance, don’t ask for permission.
Go ride and act like you know what your doing. They won’t lock up a Grandpa!

This was a big topic here when things happened last Spring. There were lots of folks asking questions on social media about whether they would be stopped by law enforcement with a trailer load of atvs heading out to ride. I don't know of anyone that had issues but I totally understand where you're at. Same situation here about trails being too far away. I'd take the chance if you're looking to ride. You can always plead ignorant (that's what I'd do!).

Thanks. Purchased a pass for EOTA on Friday. The trails were all freshly groomed. We rode from Havelock to east of Kaladar Monday. It was 180km round trip. Yesterday we did a loop to Stirling with a few side detours, about 120km. It was a great ride. We only saw one ATV on the trail yesterday. On Monday we saw 2 snowmobiles and one ATV.
Maybe when you get your RMAX and the stay at home order is over we can hookup for a ride.
