I am thinking about mounting a few things to the roof(light bar, audio amplifier, etc...) but I'm concerned about it leaking afterward. Does anyone have any tips or care to share how they've mounted stuff to their roof?

When I drilled holes in my roof I added silicone to the bolt when I put it thru, also I drilled the hole a drill bit size smaller than the bolt so the hole was tight.

You could also fab up a couple of spreader bars like a roof mounted gun rack (long bolts and nuts), and not make any holes in your roof.

I mounted an 18" led bar on front of roof...but it vibrated so much and made light move up and down irratically. So I relocated to front bumper for now. You need a solid mount for lights on roof. I plugged my holes I made with 2 Yamaha plastic push screws and black rtv.
