Looks nice and semi functional. I just don't like the way it mounts to the bed/carrier. A bumper needs to be mounted to the frame to be fully functional in my opinion.
Nice to see you didn't remove ALL of the XT-R stickers. Nice touch.

Yeah, frame mount is a must. Even backing into something gently could collapse the box.

That's the compromise for having the dump bed, not an issue with the 4 seaters. I think it should have been longer for better protection of the tail lights and the extra width of the RMAX only exacerbates that. But it does offers a lot of protection compared to stock. I now have the EMP bumper which is much more robust but it sticks out too far in my opinion. I might cut a few inches off and relocate the mounting holes.

I left the 1000 decal but the XTR has since been removed.

I'm about 2 hours from you Rhinohio, and very very interested.

I don't believe I've seen one that mounts to the frame for the X2. Or am I missing something?

It mounts to the cargo box not to the frame. I don't think a frame-mount could work and allow the bed to dump. It does provides much better protection than the OEM bumper and think it would take a pretty good hit. Fortunately I can't prove that. If you're looking for something that mounts to the frame, you'll probably have to fabricate it yourself.

Where are you located, maybe we could meet some where in the middle. I hate to see it hanging on the wall in the barn when someone could get some use out of it.
