Want to get a glass windshield for my 23 rmax. Thought about going OEM but now I started looking at the alpha glass windshield and super atv windshield. Any recommendations on which glass windshield you guys prefer? Anything you don’t like on the windshield you already have?

I have been happy with my Alpha windshield. Easy to install and easy to remove. We felt like we got sufficient air thru the vents even on the hot summer days. I would buy again.

I prefer the OEM. The visibility seems to be better

+1 for OEM glass windshield/wiper kit. I have it on my 23 rmax4 with full soft enclosure. Great visibility, and I live where all it does is rain and nothing leaks by. Couldn't seal any better around the roof or pillars.

OEM is nice, but I couldn't gut that price. I went with the USA. It has the best vents and the worst roof gap. If you don't want wind in the winter, you have to fill the gap with insulation or fabricate something like I did.

Freedom UTV fits awesome and has one long vent across the front. I’ve been very pleased with the fit and the ease of installation (4 bolts).

Man, I didn't see that design when I was shopping for mine. I like that. Does it fit the roof gap well? I guess I can't complain, I got mine for $580 OTD including 2 wipers because USA is local, but it looks like Freedom is only about 1 1/2 hours from me, and I like good venting in the summer, so if I had it to do over again I’d probably try the Freedom UTV one

The Alpha fits tight to the roof and cowl of the machine. Uses the Yamaha clamps and can be put on and taken off in seconds if wanted with no tools needed. No issues open trailering to 80 mph.

I like the way both the Alpha and the EMP fit the roof. I went back and forth between those two and the USA when I was shopping around. At the time, I felt like all 3 were a little bit of a compromise. I went with the USA mainly because of the scoop style vents. They work really well, and I figured it would be easier to make a block-off than change vent style. After a couple of hours one evening in my shop my USA windshield now fits the roof well too lol. At the time, if I could have gotten a glass windshield that had a scoop style vent and it also fit the roof well, that would have been perfect.

Yes it fits well. I looked hard at the USA as well but opted for the freedom due to riding alone often and being able to easily open the entire vent from the driver side. Fit is very tight. Slightest gap in the corners. Here’s a couple pics from inside on post 2 of the comms thread.

That would have fit my wants perfectly. Yep, I would have picked that windshield over the USA if I'd known about it. I do like that I can have air when my wife doesn't want it, but the fact that it has good venting and I wouldn't need to design a block-off would have made me buy it for sure.

I looked at virtually every one I could find. I’ve been very pleased.

I did the EMP with a manual wiper. It works great but if I had the money I'd do the OEM with wiper motor and squirters. Maybe a future upgrade when I run out of other things to upgrade.....

I also have the glass windshield and wiper kit on my 2021 Rmax. I absolutely love it. It's one of, if not the best, products I've ever purchased for my machine. I like being able to go through water, mud, dirt, dust, whatever, and just push a button and it's clean. I don't worry about it getting scratched or discoloring, or having to get out and clean it off.

I've got a Bentmetal with a manual wiper and it's awesome. Great customer service too. Ups destroyed the first one they sent me (Alaska). Bentmetal shipped out new glass at no cost the next day. It also survived my minor roll over like a champ..by some miracle. Fit is great. No gaps to speak of. Vents work pretty well.
