Yamaha left out the spring that holds the counter weight on the camshaft in place decompression pin off my cam or it fell off thus was not decompressing on start up

That I don't know, may never knowDo you think it could have dropped down into the oil galley and go into the crankcase? Or just missing entirely.

Im thinking, they ran out of springs for a day when they were making the motors one day.Moose1969 here in Newfoundland Canada. Had the same issue.....after 3 trips to the dealer they finally figured it out and it was the spring......very frustrating.
I doubt you will see this, the market is too small.anybody know if there are any aftermarket cams available for the wolvy yet?
