Has anyone swapped out the fox shocks for ELKA shocks? if so how does the ride compare. Getting a wolvy, but contemplating upgrading the shocks.

Elka will custom build them for your rig, I've never seen anything negative about them except for the price. There are quite a few guys with them on Grizzly's.

I honestly haven't seen anyone with them on their Wolverine. I know they are well liked on Grizzly's, but very expensive.

If anyone is looking to upgrade the X2/X4 shocks, check out 814 suspension. Much cheaper than the Elka and the ride quality is much improved over factory. Not to mention increased wheel travel.

i put stage 4 elkas on my grizzly 700. they are fantastic but very expensive. most dont realize though you will loose ground clearance with good shocks. this is required for the shock to have up and down travel. 1/3 of the shock should be able to travel downwards for the best ride and to keep your center of gravity low. If your a mud rider its a waste of money.
