Of course they do. It makes perfect sense. Sure wish I would have realized that before I tossed my seat belt screws in there for 'safe' keeping. I heard the 'tink' sound as it hit the fully welded skid plate.
I put a strap around the seat belt switch. Now the cover is missing one screw. :(
Note to self...at least 3 cups of coffee before doing anything important.

I did the same thing last weekend with drill bits. Forgot about the hole and lost a nice, carbide bit down into the bowels of my X2.
