I forgot to add that you need to take a straw and run thru the cup drain hole and the area that you will be foaming so the cup holders will drain thru the foam when water gets inside. Just pull the straws out when the foam has cured
and you still have the drain hole.

I just did mine which is a 2020, but figured it would go fine here, same idea.
If you do decide to do it, keep in mind it needs to be a pretty thin layer of foam to get the center console to fit back in again. Foams easy to trim so not a huge deal.

I did the foam form with cardboard, then trimmed it out and put aluminum tape on for good measure.
I will post back in a while when I get a chance to test on a bit of a longer ride, hopefully it works.

For anyone wondering, adding foam to the cup holders is worth it.
I have a metal bottle that use to get warm instantly, just cruised around for a few hours the other day and it stayed cool the whole time.
Will also be nice in the summer for not having to transfer cool drinks like an ice coffee to a thermos.
