The two spider gears that are in the carrier have a bevel in the back. And the bottom gear also sits in the case. Pull the bolt out that holds the pin in and see if they are seized to the carrier.
That's what I'm thinking but if it is seized, that is not good. It would probably mean something is wrong in the carrier. I don't see any bearings that would be seized. There is a spring and washer on the passenger side of the carrier though that might be broken and seized.

Hi all, finally back from vacation. Following is a picture of the little pin locking the big pin holding the spider gears. That little piece fell off when tearing apart. I'm thinking it broke off and now the two spider gears wont move at all from that position (second pic).

I'm not sure how I can drill the remaining out. Looks like the shaft spun in the casing somehow. The drill bit wont do anything to the hardened shaft. Really not sure how to take that cross shaft out..

It sucks. These front diffs are weak. Mine broke way easier then I thought it should have.
Don't tell YXZ racers that. They're retrofitting RMAX front diffs to their modified YXZs. Also don't tell Kyle Anderson who won his class at King of Hammers on a stock front diff.....and stock axles I may add.
