The two spider gears that are in the carrier have a bevel in the back. And the bottom gear also sits in the case. Pull the bolt out that holds the pin in and see if they are seized to the carrier.
Alright, I'll be out of the country for couple weeks but when I'm back those gears will be my focus point. Thanks a lot!The two spider gears that are in the carrier have a bevel in the back. That's what I'm thinking but if it is seized, that is not good. It would probably mean something is wrong in the carrier. I don't see any bearings that would be seized. There is a spring and washer on the passenger side of the carrier though that might be broken and seized. The two spider gears that are in the carrier have a bevel in the back. Don't tell YXZ racers that. They're retrofitting RMAX front diffs to their modified YXZs. Also don't tell Kyle Anderson who won his class at King of Hammers on a stock front diff.....and stock axles I may add.It sucks. These front diffs are weak. Mine broke way easier then I thought it should have.
