Do you have any pictures of it apart? The only thing I can think of if all the spider gears are ok would be something wrong with the clutch pack and spring that's in there. Do you live in the Midwest by chance? Lol. I would be willing to look at it. -Tim

I assume you took shift fork out? Can you put the axles in and rotate the spider gears around? With the shift fork in the 2wd position? As I stated earlier it will have resistance as the "clutch pack" has a sping washer in it that will give it some resistance. In theory by hand it will always feel like 4wd is engaged if this makes sense? If it does not move at all I would unbolt the center carrier from the ring gear and inspect the limited slip clutch pack. It's not complicated just mark the ring gear to carrier location, and pay attention to the orientation of the clutch pack shims. If you need a walk through pm me and i can give you my number and walk you through it. Lol. It's not complicated just pay attention and mark the orientation. -Tim

I’ve been wondering this from the beginning of the thread.
You can jack up any machine and spin the passenger tire freely but the driver tire will have resistance and feel rough due to the limited slip clutch packs. First time I discovered that I thought I had a bad wheel bearing.
Im curious that without the leverage of a wheel, hub, axle to turn it, it feels locked but really isn’t!?!?

This is correct. You can spin it on the bench but it is difficult without the mechanical advantage of a 30" tire. To me the differential looks fine - but to be this far and not inspect the clutch pack would be nuts. I would inspect and if it's not smoked put it back together and look elswhere.

Yes, I did removed the shift fork out. When I put axles in & 2wd position, there is no way the spider gears will turn. Something must be jammed in there. The right side turns freely but driver side locked tight even with 1 axle jammed in a vise. At this point, I'll disassemble the clutch pack and inspect.

Hi Tim, the clutch pack is now opened. I can't see anything obvious but does the spider gears supposed to turn at all once opened? A few picture will follow and there no way anything will rotate in there.
