Might as well put pictures and stuff out, as I go through putting stuff on ;)

Started wiring up the winch, winch relay and 12v pos and neg busses. Didn't get maybe as far as I would have liked, but I'd rather do something once. As Philip Stanhope was quoted as saying: "anything worth doing is worth doing well" .. I'm a believer in that.

So I know it was a successful start... I had to give a few drops of blood :ROFLMAO:.. but I didn't want to walk to the house.. so .. shop towel and duct tape.. (y)

I may still put in a heavy contactor to power the 12pos buss tho... easy to do at this point... or in the future really. I've got a hydraulic crimper to make my own battery cables... and using marine quality heatshrink ( with adhesive lining - makes it waterproof )

The Apex 5500 control relay mounted in the same position as the 'stock' Warn 4500, so plus there. I mounted my power and ground busses in the void where my electronic suspension control isn't.

I was going to mount them on the firewall first.. but got to thinking about future 'stuff'.. and figured I'd be pulling that firewall off a few times... and really didn't want some big stiff cables making that even harder.. ;)

If/when my own contactor to power the 12v buss... It will mount back next to the left row of relays, and above the battery... while still allowing the battery to come up vertical if/when it needs to be changed out.

Winch mounted. I watched a video of the Warn install.. and the guy took the front bar completely off. I left the bottom two bolts in, but backed out a little so the bar pivoted forward, and the winch fell right into place... inserted from left to right. Bolted the winch lightly, then pivoted the bar back up and started the two top side bolts. Finished torquing down the winch, and bar bolts. Easy peasy..

No progress this weekend... :( even tho the weather is beautiful here... guess I need to attend the grandaughter's 5th birthday, instead of busting knuckles, and bleeding on the new machine .. ;)

Finally!.. some good weather on a Saturday!... finished up the wiring on my roof bar light, side pod lights and the winch... all functional now :) ... and.. I forgot to take pics.. sorry. I'll take a picture under the hood tomorrow :) Felt good to get done what I planned for today.

Next on the to get done list is the turn signal/horn kit.

PS: wiring today included getting the heavy relay in the keyed power circuit, and it supplying power to the high current bus and also a 6 position fuse block.
Switch controls are Carling Contura V's.

Wake up to ~1" snow this morning puts a little damper on things.. but it's suppose to warm up a little this afternoon. I'll get a underhood pic then. I guess a snowy day would be prime time to start installing the seat heaters tho huh?

Maybe even clean up the workbench after this episode of "wiring frenzy" ;)

My 'shop' is a 27ft enclosed utility trailer. When you choose to live small... space becomes 'interesting' ;)

Oh, and I guess there's a pic of 'all lights on' too.

Started getting the radios mounted. Got power routed up to them, but not hooked up. Antennas mounted, cables partially ran.

Started on the Ryco ts kit. Turn switch mounted, power/horn wired, ts indication LED mounted. Next nice day will be tying into the brake switch and running the harness back to the rear lights.
