I am thinking about going with the full Guard Set but I tend to do some rock banging... Anyone seen any dimensions on the cargo box?
I am hopefully going to pick up my r spec tomorrow! I believe I am going to get a full windshield, accessory mounting bar, spare tire mount, rear grab bar, cargo box, and chainsaw mount. I was curious how necessary the fender kit is. And also how important the a-arm guards would be?
This is the list I am adding, was not planning on the accessories right away but after Timmi shared the 18 mos warranty special I decided to go that route. Really wanted a 4,500 lb winch but I am sure the 3,500 will do the job with the weight of the Wolverine. My dealer called today and my machine is in but will wait on the parts to be shipped, probably 3 or 4 days.
I did not check, what do most dealers do?
I believe the full 5 year warranty is transferable. So you can sell a three year old machine with warranty, the new owner gets a two year warranty. What a great resale feature!I talked to my dealer and to get the free warranty the first $1k in accessories must be at retail price. After that they can discount any extra accessories. There is also a special offer on top of the free 18 mos of warranty coverage that allows you to add 2 extra years for $299 or 3 extra years for $399 for a total of 4 or 5 years. The 18 mos is added to the standard 6 mos so that gives me 2 years. I am good with that, will likely either be selling or heavy modding by then.

If it's like other Yamaha warranties there are no deductibles and they will honor warranties with some mods and only don't cover repairs if the failure is directly related to the modification. On snowmobiles they even cover the turbocharged motor with the Yamaha offered MPI turbo. This increases horsepower from 130-135 HP to 180-190 HP! The best warranty in the business!
