The KOH UTV race winners announcement was ridiculous. Their bias to only highlight CanAm machines makes one think they are trying to hide something. All the winning drivers are announced but not all podium machines, unless it was a CanAm, then they announced them even if they didn’t podium!

I hope Yamaha starts running an advertising campaign highlighting how good the RMAX is. Might be bad press for the YXZ though. Some big names have tried to win in the YXZ and failed.

All that matters is a Yamaha won the CanAm KOH. :p

Weller sells an exhaust system for the YXZ. Don't see how it's any louder than the RMAX system would be...

The weller exhaust on a yxz is insanely loud, one of my best friends has a fully built yxz and it is obnoxious.

The yxz is a 3 cylinder, rmax is twin, an NA twin would probably sound like a harley with drag pipes

It was cute how many “pure sport” rigs finished behind the sport/recreational RMAX. I thought that was adorable

Every now and then a ford escort can take a cobra if the cobra isn't firing on all cylinders.

The only reason the rmax beat any polaris is because they were all at home with stop rides.

I’d be surprised to see a Ford escort or a cobra firing on all cylinders by the end of a race :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Or the Polaris owners were cooking marshmallows over their car fires and forgot :ROFLMAO:.
Disclaimer: I hope you know I’m just playin’ man, all my humor is light hearted. I have friends with RZRs that have never burst into flames, and my absolute favorite cars ever built are 60’s Fords

Yeah I'm joking too, except about ford's being junk and polaris having stop rides, im at 3 months on my current stop ride. Polaris may be faster but not when they never run.

When you explain it like that, now it sounds tempting haha
My rzr sounds like a turbo harley with the AA exhaust

Doubtful it will sound like a harley with the RMAX 1k being a parallel twin and not a v-twin.
It's surprisingly similar, my harley has a lot more chop at idle because of the screaming eagle cams but wound up they are very similar, I thought it was kind of cool, I think if my harley was turbod the difference would be minimal.

The Harley v twin uses a single crank pin for both cylinders so with a 45 degree v the firing pulses would be at 315 and 405 degrees.
The Polaris turbo and Yamaha Wolverine twins use a 270 degree and 450 degree split or something similar so the exhaust would sound similar to the Harley but more like a 90 Degree v twin (Can Am).
The normally aspirated Polaris 1000 uses a 180 degree 540 degree split so it doesn't sound the same.

I don't want my RMAX to sound like a Harley. I just want to piss off all the noise sensitive sissy's out there. :p

Throw the aftermarket assasins exhaust on there, it is very agressive and has a tone that will make people wonder what you have going on! People ask me everytime I go out what I have going on with my machine!
