2017 SE - Purchased in July of 2018. Just a bit over 3700 mi currently on the clock after 15 months.

Factory air filter outer foam was tearing at 2nd service - purchased factory replacement.
After hearing about issues with stock filter purchased an Uni.

Drive shaft seal went out of the final drive at right around 3000 mi. Dealer said water infiltrated and wrecked bearings.
Dealer replaced entire final drive under warranty. Also needed rear brakes at that point.

I installed a new drive belt at about 3400, just to be safe. Original looked pretty good yet - keeping as a spare.

Dropped it off at dealer two weeks ago for top-end TSB. Dealer said cooling fan needed replacement (warranty).

All tolled, I am very happy with this machine, considering how it has been ridden. Not abused mind you, but it's not babied either.

Yes, it was approved. As a matter of fact, they called yesterday to say it was done! (they were waiting for the fan)

Parts and labor for the TSB and fan 100% covered.

How much warranty do you have on them there. Here you blink drive around the trail and a bush and you're done, times up.

Come with 6 months and you can buy up to 3 1/2 more.
It doesn't have to be still in warranty to get the TSB's done for free.

Where did you have the work done? How much oil were you using and did you have any smoke?

I stopped at a large dealer in my area last week and asked if they had done any Grizzlies, Kodiaks, or Wolverines and the service department didn't even know anything about it. They are a Can Am, Honda, and Popo dealer too so Yamaha must be a very small part of their sales. I was surprised that they couldn't even look up the TSB without me providing the number!

Still rolling in 16- Rspec, little over 5000 miles with no problems, oil consumption in minimal. Only porblem has been rad fan - went thru 2 factory ones and the 3rd is aftermarket. It's just like a Timex - - takes a licking and keeps on ticking!!

I purchased the extended warranty so covered for 4 full years.

I am not normally one to go for "Protection Plans" or extended warranties, but as it was my first SxS and I got a good price on the warranty, I went for it.
Now with the final drive issue, I'm glad I did!
