    Only starts in neutral

Has anyone had their Wolverine where it will only start when it is in neutral? Mine just started it and I was wondering how to fix it.

check and see if your brake lights are coming on when you press the brake... normally you need brake pedal pressed to start in gear.

Brake light switch is first effort. The plunger can get frozen. a little spray in the switch. Or Adjust to where brake lights come on when you just tap brakes.

As a basic (and I am not saying I know how this circuit works) remember that switches do not always 'turn on' something on the positive side, they just ground a circuit.

Many times it's just adjusting a stretched out brake cable to engage the brake lights/switch sooner like when new.

you stopped it in gear, and are too lazy to shift to Neutral; that's my reason anyways!

sometimes I have seen where both my Rhino and sometimes the Wolv will be on an incline and have pressure on trans gears and is very difficult to shift out of gear. So to avoid undue stress on shifter mechanism it best to start in the gear with foot on brake and then accelerate a little even if just to reverse directions.

Really? It is supposed to start in gear mine has never started in any position other then neutral since brand new from the dealer . I never questioned it because it made sense to me.
