    New and Confused

Hi, all I am new here but not to SXS,s. I just sole a YXZ1000R SE. And I am looking to purchase a Wolverine!
Can someone please tell me the difference between the X2 (2 Seater?) and the R spec. I know R spec comes with Roof, Piggyback Resivore on adjustable shocks, Tail Gate and Wider front fender flairs... ESP (Electronic Power Steering)

It seems I have seen some used Wolverines for sale that look like an R spec but it does not say that in the ad.

    Please Explain

    Thank You Guys and Girls

If you talking about the gen 1. It has a roof, Reservoir shocks, full skid plating, extended fenders and an automotive paint.
I would spend a little extra and get the new x2 and not the gen1. The engine alone in the new models is vastly better, not including the other upgrades.

Gen 2 are 2019 but I have had mine for just over a year now so there might be some used ones available.

No X2 2018 models. The X2 name didn't become official until the 2019 850 twins came out.

No, the 2018 2 seater was still the gen. 1 with the 708cc single. I think Yamaha delayed the X2 till 2019 so they could get rid of the gen.1's they had at the dealers.

I was wondering seemed a while ago already that I saw first one. They must have been at the dealers long before the 2019 YXZ arrived. Seemed like I checked out one of the 850 X2's like a year ago already. I was trying to figure why everyone saying so much harder to get in and out than the Gen 1 Wolvie's. I guess we are seeing the 2020's soon. Bikes and atv's been out. How time fly's.
