Them ruts are quite deep, ground clearance gone to get through them. How did you manage to flip the Wolverine (good to see you all with helmets!!)

Nice video and it shocked me you'd stop in the middle of the river to have a chat that deep water. You-all needed to find a clean river to wash the machines in before loading up. I guess there weren't any when you were done there.

Helmets for sure. Unless I'm tooling around the yard I use it. We ride too hard not to. I’ve felt the helmet tap the cage before. It would hurt your head for sure.

Many of those ruts are still manageable if you have the speed and side grip. That smooth underside helps a lot.

It was just a pond we were playing around in. I wish it had been a clean flowing river. Those are the best.

It was funny how I rolled it. I had just ridden a fairly difficult section and I was slowly creeping forward on a fairly banked turn waiting for the 4 other guys. I only saw 3 of the 4 so I leaned out over the door to look back and apparently it was just enough to shift the balance. I felt it start to tip as if in slow motion so I put my hands in my lap and waited. My buddy was suspended from the seatbelt. The other guys said it looked like a slow motion movie. We got it flipped upright pretty easily.

I see, well good you and your buddy weren't hurt. I learned recently driving my ATV 2 years ago. Not to brake hard with the wheels turned taking a turn. I flipped the ATV on top of me (my leg was pinned), my snowmobiling brain experience was not working as I had my leg out!! The inertia tipped it in slow motion as well onto me as I watched and could not stop it. Its a heavy Kiingquad 750. With 60" I think one would have to try hard to make it happen of the Wolverine.

I have the Skid plated but not sure how much pressure they can take. I grazed a big bolder in tall grass that was hidden. But I was crawling and I heard it touch. I back off and away and left a faint rub mark only for a few inches.

I’m betting I’ve pushed that machine to the brink of what it was designed to be able to handle if not slightly more factoring in my mods. I did discover that I have a leak at the rear diff once I got home. I think it’s where the driveshaft goes into the rear diff. That should be ab adventure to repair.
