When I bought mine, I extended the 6 month to a full year because if something is going to go wrong I'll know within the first 6 months of owning it based off of my riding conditions and experience, had it in for 1st required break in service and knock wood so far so good.

I have had my X4 for basically a one-weekend ride. I love the low-speed bump absorption. High speed leaves a little to be desired. It definitely likes low speed better. I call it flutter. When your gas foot seems to bounce on the pedal causing that jerking motion. The drive by wire was advertised to prevent that. I seem to suffer from it I guess. The overall quality and performance is plenty of bang for the buck in my opinion. The pricing for what you get is below the beltline of midrange but then again I'm not interested in bells and whistles just dependability and longevity. My two cents, spend it as you wish!
