    Trails near Padacuh, KY

We'll be in Padacuh in June for a family reunion on my wifes side. There's bound to be time to get some riding in on this trip, either on the way to or back from there to Texas. I'd like to see some of the backwoods and forests of KY up close! Can someone clue me in on where to go thats not too far out of the way? A quick search has shown me that the most popular places are mainly in Eastern KY, of course. IT could be in MO also, as i'm going to be traveling thru that way. We MAY take Hwy 60 thru the Marc Twain national forest.

Turkey Bay ORV Area in Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area has 2000+ acres with lots of trails from easy to more than you can handle with a sxs.. It is located on the Eastern shore of Kentucky Lake across the bridge from Aurora. Very hilly and scenic.

Wrights Area 252 in Bardwell, Ky free to ride and only bout 30 min from Paducah open Wednesday-Sunday! They have a country store on site..Nice riding trails and great scenery and close to Mississippi River, you can actually ride to the river from the park on the river to river trails! But requires a Carlisle county permit.
Falls of Rough Offroad park in Falls of Rough, KY and Turkey bay in land between the lakes recreation area.
