    Alaska 2019 X2 R Spec

Greetings from Alaska. Just bought a 2019 X2 R Spec. Put an enclosed cab, snow plow and heater in it. I've only got about 80 miles on it so far but they are some rough ones. I do a lot of very rocky mountain trails (thank God for the skid plate) as well as water crossings. I've named it "Stiches", as during it's inaugural run, a branch split roof and I repaired it with zip ties and sealant.

Super happy with my choice so far. Will be adding a set of larger all terrain tires and a DIY snorkel at some point. Possibly doing a track kit.

Only 1 complaint so far. Has anyone else figured out a solid way to keep water from coming into the cab through the steering column? Or at least reduce it? I've looked at it and it seems to be an engineering oversight. It drops water right into the top of my xtratuffs. Not an awesome experience. The water around here is frigid at best.

Glad to be here and looking to learn from all y'all and see some pictures. Thanks everyone.

Welcome to the Forum! I took some thin rubber matting and sealed my fender well/fire wall off. Others have done the same. If you need more details, send me a PM.

Welcome to the forum Stjohnma and congrats on the new Wolverine! You'll find a few threads on here that address the water issue experiencing, most just install a piece of a mud flap/thin rubber inside of the wheel well area on both sides and that seems to work pretty well.
