    Premium Headliner

Hey all...just wondering if anyone installed a premium headliner. I recently got an x4 with a full cab and I'm kicking my self that I should have got it installed before I brought the x4 home. Thanks in advance

I have the deluxe headliner with 6 speakers and cab as well. The hardest thing to install for me was the heater and that made the headliner a cakewalk. Really it is not too bad, if you are doing the deluxe headliner by itself with no speakers. Speakers will add some time to it routing the speaker wiring to the head unit in the dash.

I would say no, Yamaha assecories for the x4 are supposed to be complete bolt in with no drilling.

That's not true for the rear soft window installation, which requires you to drill 4 holes so no reason to think other accessories don't require drilling.

Those of you with the premium headliner, does it cut down on noise?

Still installing but i do not see how it could cut down on noise. No insulation. You could buy a roll of automotive insulation and glue it on before you install, it would get sandwiched between hard top and headliner

Hey... yes you drill the 8 holes...these are for the push pins. Can’t remember the size of the drill bit...the roof in some areas is double panel. And yes I found it cut down on the noise.
