    InfidelMT's bleeding the cooling system

My steps I used to bleed the air out of my system and add coolant efficiently. Had to bleed the system as I added a 28K Jegs heater.

    1. Ran my X2 up on some ramps to get the radiator higher then the engine.
    2. Engine still cold open up radiator cap and top off coolant. Verify coolant overflow was at full.
    3. Next crack the 8mm bleed screw on drivers side near oil cooler. Unscrewed it enough to release the air.
    4. Add coolant each time at radiator. As air is released the level keeps dropping in the radiator. Repeat until air is released and coolant comes out the bleed screw.
    5. Did a full heat cycle one time as I have my fan temp set to come on at 197. I can set it to whatever I want in 2 degree increments.
    6. Used maybe 1.5 quarts of coolant with my heater and what coolant I lost.
    7. Coolant system is free of air and my heat works awesome! Whole process took less then an hour. Using the bleed screw speeds up the process immensely.

Full cab on. Was going to order the full hard cab from Yamaha. Said screw it and went with the side by side enclosures cab. As I already had the Super atv flip windshield.
