    Rival Footwell Protector Installation

Got the Rival kit from https://www.sidebysidestuff.com/riva...ine-x2-x4.html

Instructions are drawings/pictures only, NO text. Really odd instructions. Pretty sure I'll figure it out but wondering if anyone might have more details on the process or know of a video somewhere?

They're aluminum and come in a primer gray. Might paint them but no doubt the paint wouldn't last long.

    Thanks.

Yes I did. Turned out great. I did paint them NAPA Chassis Black (over self-etching primer). I doubt the paint will hold up long but the aluminum/silver look wasn't what I wanted.

I wasn't smart enough to get rock sliders installed first, so when that time comes the liners will have to removed or at least loosened but not a big deal. Someone's asking if the OEM plastic fender flares will go back on.. maybe, with some cutting and longer bolts but I haven't gotten around to trying that. For the peace of mind they provide I was ok with the cost.

I'd say little if any smaller. OEM plastic goes away and the thickness is about equal.
