Gear shifter popping into low gear.
I did a quick search on this and didn't find anything. But, that could just mean I'm not very good with computers... Anyway, when I put the wolverine (2019 X2) into low range, and start to apply the gas, the shifter lever "pops" into gear before the car starts moving. I'm guessing this is just an adjustment issue, but has anyone else experienced this?

In my experience, this is fairly common with Yamaha transmissions. When shifting from H to L, the shifter linkage may look like the shift is complete but often times, the gears need to finish meshing before you drop the hammer. Sometimes a linkage adjustment helps but I think it's really just the nature of these machines.

Ok, Thanks. I will play with the linkage a bit to see if I can do anything, but it's nice to know this isn't a crazy bad issue.

I think most of them do it, I just train myself to tap the gas a little before hammering on it after changing gears till it pops in all the way.

My Gen1 and X2 do the same thing that you describe. Might go easy on the throttle once you are in a new gear.
